It is the applicant's responsibility to read and understand the requirements and carefully follow the directions. Please understand that no action will be taken unless all necessary documentation is on file in the International Student Admissions Office by the stated deadlines. English Proficiency
To be accepted as an international
student at San Diego Miramar College you must be able to speak,
read, write and understand English at a level that will allow
you to successfully complete college work. To verify your level,
we require that you pass the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign
Language) with a minimum score of 500. This requirement is waived
if you completed a college level English composition course in
the United States or if you come from a country that has English
as the primary language in its educational system.
